We want to make Japan a country of hope for our children!! To achieve this, we need to change the education system from a test based system to one that engenders thinking for oneself. At the same time, we must develop human resources that can compete in the international community while maintaining pride in Japan's culture and history. Additionally, we must reign in fiscal spending and tax waste. We must also create a safe and secure food environment, one that increases our self reliance for food. Equally important are the issues of corrupt medical care and restricting excessive immigration along with the influx of foreign capital. In this way, the Democratic Party of Japan is the only truly "conservative political party" that puts Japan and the people who live here first.
